Imagine using bits of discarded mattresses and old clothes as feminine protection, being shunned by your community for a completely natural bodily function, or having to trade sex for money to buy sanitary napkins.

This was forwarded to me in an email. The survey is very interesting. I invite you guys to look through it.

Subject: Body Image Survey

Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I am writing to you in
the hope of requesting your help in finding participants for my dissertation study on Body Image as Perceived by Black American Women and White American Women. This study is approved by the Institutional Review Board at California School of Professional Psychology – Alliant International University.

Participants must be:

between the ages of 25 and 50,

must be females born and raised in the U.S.,

and must identify themselves as Black/African-American or White/Caucasian/Euro-American

If you (or anyone you know) is interested in participating, click the link below and you will be sent directly to the survey. The survey takes approximately 15-20 minutes to complete.

At the end of the study there is a link to an alternative email in order for you to give contact information if you choose to be entered in a opportunity drawing for a $50 Spa-Wish gift card. The survey is completely anonymous and you will never be asked to give any identifying information throughout the survey itself.
