Reading (yet another) article on the latest GOP attempt to get all up in our lady parts. This last paragraph, and the last few words especially, just struck me as one of the silliest phrases ever uttered.
Late-term abortions “have been happening hundreds of times every single day for decades in America,” Trent Franks (R-Ariz) said. “Those who incomprehensibly call trying to change this a ‘war on women’ overlook the fact that roughly half of these babies that are so torturously killed each day are just little tiny women.” * **
OMG. I’m so convinced now. Let’s run out and save all the tiny little women. Fuck the full-grown women carrying the tiny little women. They’re just incubators too stupid to not get pregnant or too slutty to not have sex or they were hussies who left the house after dark wearing short skirts and asking for it. They must have wanted it because otherwise their bodies would have shut that whole thing down, am I right? Hahaha. Silly wittle grown-ass women – out in the workforce trying to make money like a big old man. Silly girls – you’re not smart enough to make your own decisions, so that’s why we have all male congressional panels voting on your reproductive rights. Rights.
Um, if everyone is equal how come we’re not having a hen party and deciding what the men folk are allowed to do with their penises? Oh, that’s right – we’re women. We don’t matter.
*But wait … what if she’s carrying a boy?
** Tiny Little Women – is that some forgotten work by Louis May Alcott?
