TORONTO – A storm of epic proportions has blanketed much of upstate New York, trapping people in their homes and vehicles as more than six feet of snow fell in 48 hours.
And it’s not over yet.
The band of snow shifted slightly into Buffalo’s northern suburbs Wednesday morning, but forecasters warn a second bout of lake-effect snow will move into the region and could dump another two feet by Thursday.
As residents of the Buffalo area hunkered down, many took to social media to share photos of winter’s wrath.
