Marina Keegan, 22, was killed this past weekend in a driving accident. Recently graduated from Yale, she was a playwright, activist, and journalist. Having already written several pieces for The Yale Daily News, she was scheduled to move to NY and take a job with The New Yorker. Her final piece, The Opposite of Loneliness, is a must read for anyone, young or old who thinks it’s too late to make a change. It’s well-written and inspiring; full of all the hopefulness you’d expect from someone just starting out. I encourage you to read this piece and take it to heart.
